Less dragging when moving
Less Schlepperei when moving from or higher floor.
I've moved a few times from higher to higher floors and that took a lot of power from all moving helpers. The up and down running, makes you a complete and ready for every single stupid box.
The last time it occurred to me that it would be better to knit all the boxes and everything that is not so difficult, and let it out of the window, preferably on a rope with a hook.
This saves a lot of running, the move is much faster and the amount that has to be towed through the house is limited.
Considering how much stuff that gets together in larger households, that's a huge relief for the relocation helpers ... of course this also works for pulling up boxes. Just think about how much staircase climbing you can save yourself.
