Long hair hairstyle made of knitting wool for homemade doll tinker

The doll is sewn or self-made, but still looks as bald as a gingerbread man. How does the doll get a nice long hairstyle?

That's easy. You need a book, normal paperback size for a small doll, a ball of wool from which you want to make your hair, a thick darning needle and a pair of scissors. If you have a big doll, the book also has to be bigger, the hair is about as long as the book is wide, if the spine is on the left side.

You hold the book across so that the spine is up. Then you wrap the book with wool. Depending on how thick the hair is supposed to be, you need a lot or a little wool.

When the book is wrapped in wool, thread a long wool thread into the needle and sew along the spine of the book with small, firm lockstitches from one side to the other. Sew the thread well on both sides.

Now take the scissors and carefully cut open the threads where you open the book. Sew the "middle parting" on the head of the doll. You can also cut a few pony fringes.

Now you can style the doll, e.g. Braids braids, which are then held together with hair elastic and loops. So that the hairstyle is not only fixed to the middle parting, you can sew it in several places on the head.
