Make bulky ropes of circular needles supple

Those who are not in possession of newer circular needles with particularly flexible ropes, probably knows the problem of bulky ropes, which do not want to, as one would like and which, especially when circular knitting, like to go wild in turns.

This happens even if you keep the needles in the plastic bags where you bought them and in which the ropes are "pretty" wound up to have space in a small space.

How do you become a woman?

  • Boil water in a kettle and fill it into a pot or bowl.
  • Then hold the rope at the two needle points for several seconds in the boiling hot water (about 10 - 20 seconds, depending on the thickness and bulkiness).
  • Then you take the rope out of the water and stretch the entire round needle.

Lo and behold, the rope has relaxed, has become generally even more flexible, and is now just between the two needle tips.
