Mashed potato remainder utilization - Pummelchen

I often have leftover potato rye because you just can not eat a whole bag of ready mashed potatoes alone. At some point I was tired of always having to throw it away, so quickly asked Mama and she had a really delicious solution:

Just mix the rest with flour, milk and a pinch of sugar to a dough (should be tough, not too liquid) and fry the whole thing like small fat pancakes in the pan.

With sugar and cinnamon or applesauce tastes best!
