Melon kernels roast and utilize

Melon in the summer is wonderfully refreshing if it were not for the many black kernels. If I cut melons, then I have always removed the black seeds and disposed of in the bio bin. Not anymore. Now the seeds come in the salad.

Especially on the hot summer days, chilled melons are a delicious refreshment if the melon seeds were not. I just do not like it when I eat a melon and then bite hard cores. The kernels contain important nutrients such as vitamins, iron or calcium. For the bio bin so easy to Schade. But what else should I do with the seeds?
