Men's gift: "sausage case"

Our neighbor is craftsman through and through and our mutual neighborly gifts amount to a lesser amount: it's more about nice touches than big gifts.

This year, on his birthday, there was a "craftsman's suitcase" that at first glance did not give an idea of what it contained.

With a few? Confusing? Utterances at the delivery, that we finally got it right? To give a tool so that it progresses, we handed him a suitcase, which usually contains cordless screwdrivers or drills. Since our neighbor basically has first-class professional tools, we saw at the handover in doubting eyes, which made the surprise even bigger.

Like many do-it-yourselfers, we also have a lot of equipment and accessories that are mostly housed in these gray plastic cases. Some devices are replaced, but one or the other suitcase can still be found in the tool room. So this one, which I could use as a "gift box" well.

(Unfortunately the center seam of the suitcase did not survive a 65 degree wash in the dishwasher, but I fixed it with masking tape as best I could?).

So a suitcase is filled, depending on space and area, for example with:

  • Mett
  • butter
  • Salt and pepper (here in spreaders with imprint? Extrawurst?)
  • an onion (for the Mett)
  • Salami sausages of any kind
  • (here) fresh roast pork (just the one the recipient likes)
  • mustard

There was also a gift bag with

  • cappuccino
  • and 3 crispy fresh bread rolls

All in all, nothing great, but that was very big and can be customized.
