Shortbread simply
Here is a tip for those who are tired of constantly looking into the baking book.
If you want to make a short pastry, you do not have to look in the book but just keep this bill.
125g powdered sugar
250g butter (best cool)
500g flour
That's half the battle. Then 0.5% salt (of flour) and 2 egg yolks per kg of flour.
First mix icing sugar, butter and salt. Gradually add egg yolk. Stir everything quickly. Add the flour and stir slowly. Finished.
