Minzessig
Sprinkle fresh mint, chopped chives, peppercorns and chilli pepper with 1 / 2l light vinegar and leave to stand in a glass or bottle for approx. 4 weeks. Strain through a sieve. Fill again in a tight-fitting bottle and store cool and dark.
Tastes great with salads, especially lamb's lettuce.
"Taste mint", e.g. I leave strawberry or pineapple mint in vinegar without spices. Is also suitable for fruit salads and other sweets.
