Mix caffeinated cocoa drink yourself

Instead of coffee - caffeinated cocoa drink

Since I do not like coffee, and instead preferred a cocoa-based beverage powder from the delicatessen, I mix since recently with my own successful cocoa powder to my liking.


ingredients

  • Cocoa powder (fair trade), without sugar - approx. 200 g
  • Biorohr sugar (fair trade), at your own discretion or powdered sugar, dissolves faster
  • Guarana powder, about a big shot glass full

Mix everything well and stir in hot water, milk, rice milk or similar.

Guarana is the powdered product of the berry Paullina cupana, a climber from the Amazon. Guarana is chemically similar to caffeine, but is more sustainable in its effect, as coffee or caffeine, means a small amount acts over a longer period, it is slowly and gently broken down in the body, it does not make nervous, but body and soul refresh.

It can be mixed in water with milk, yogurt, cereal or fruit juice.

Because it is caffeinated, it should not be consumed by children, pregnant women and caffeine-sensitive persons.
