Nasal shower made by hand

It came again, how it had to come: vacation, relaxation and the nose starts to drip. Bad cold :-( At home, I had been standing in front of the nasal douche, the takeaway but discarded, since you could probably get along for a few days without ...

After having already tormented myself for two days, I made an emergency emergency shower this morning. A teapot (which would have worked very well) is not available in the apartment, and besides, I did not want to do this to the Nachnutzern ;-)

So I completely emptied the little shampoo cup from the last hotel stay (the hair is really really clean now!) And cut the tube at the back to a) fill with water and b) get air for the inflow.

Then stir in saline solution and hold the tube down with your forefinger (or let the stopper on it, but with a little practice the locking will be faster), then fill in the solution at the top and hold the big opening with your thumb. Hold the head at an angle, place the tube opening at a nostril (first remove the index finger ;-) and then let it run.

If you repeat this on each side three to five times (the tube has 30 ml capacity), you have a full nasal rinse behind him :-)

The thing with the saline solution, however, has not been successful. I have a sensitive nose and it burned nasty despite low concentration. So I rushed into the pharmacy again in expenses and bought physiological Nasenspülsalz. You can always use salt, I would not have wanted to buy the third nasal shower ...

And the best thing is, three of the bags fit into my nasendüschchen, so that I can take it now even with small luggage always :-)
