No more space in the kitchen cabinet?
If you have more cups (better than too little :)) and plates as a place in the cabinet, there is a remedy. In furniture stores you can buy small wire racks, which practically result in intermediate floors between the cabinet floors.
On the one hand you can accommodate more and on the other you can put different plates (such as the breakfast plates and the saucers) in the rack above each other and still comes to the desired plate without having to take all the others out of the closet.
