No streaks on windshield

I would like to post an experience that I have made with my (almost) new windshield in my Golf IV, in order to spare others such experiences.

So in the summer I had a new windshield, the car is already over 5 years as, so this was due, well - on the subject:

For about 3-5 weeks, when I used the windshield wipers, I had streaks on the windscreen again and again, so that I drove almost blindly through the area in the wet and in the dark, well, at first I suspected that this was due to the remainders - Nano - polish would lie, with the effort and use of all kinds of stuff (benzine, brake pads cleaner, spirit & Co.) now finally got down - people, Stay away from this nano stuff, that is absolutely the last, the wipers rattle, the disk misted faster, etc., also advises any glass professional from.

The remnants of all the stuff and the whole environmental impact of the winter probably left this nasty film on my windshield, which, like o. A. with nothing to bring down, have tried everything possible, even the well-known wonder "CW1: 100" - has not really helped - streaks in the rain, despite the new Bosch wipers.

The solution: Simply polish the disc with Stahlfix from the kitchen and rub dry with fresh Zewa, then rinse with water and also clean the wipers well.

No more streaks and perfect visibility in the rain, cold & Co.
