On heat: cook food in the crockpot on the balcony

Today I'm cooking my food in the crockpot on the balcony and left the heat outside. A very simple dish of roasted vegetables. Well not roasted, but garnished and very aromatic to separately cooked pasta or rice. Even vegetarian. Or sometimes as a side dish for grilling.

The Crockpot (3.5 L) to three quarters with vegetables z. B. Zucchini, peppers, 1 onion, carrots (cut a bit smaller), 1 teaspoon brewing powder, spices, herbs, 2 tablespoons oil, no water!

Stir well and place for 4 hours, level 2 outside on a balcony with power connection on a shady spot. Mine is under the heat in the heat.


Stir well after 2 hours. After a total of 4 hours season, stir, done. Do not open in between and fiddle with it. The vegetables are very aromatic, with very little liquid.

In 10 minutes I can eat my vegetables prepared with cooked noodles this morning. Salad is already out of my ears. Even when it's hot outside, I need something hearty.

You can take any kind of vegetables and also mix with potatoes.

For meat eaters my personal tip: Put 3 slices of marinated grilled meat on top and stir as usual, 4.5 hours. In the end, grate the meat, mix and season. Served with rice, noodles baguette. One of my favorite dishes. Something too much bought grilled meat you can also spoil it.
