Parmesan lollipops

I have a great recipe for you that is really easy and fast. The delicious Parmesan Lollies are a hit at any party and are prepared so quickly that you can prepare them as a snack.

Here are the details for about 12-15 pieces.

utensils:

  • 1 serving ring (about 7-8 cm in diameter)
  • 2 baking trays
  • baking paper
  • 15 long wooden skewers
  • Butter for greasing

ingredients

  • 180 g of Parmesan
  • 4 tsp pine nuts
  • 2 teaspoons black sesame seeds (is also wonderful with white sesame seeds)

preparation

  1. Preheat the oven to 200 ° C top and bottom heat.
  2. Lay out the baking sheets with baking paper and grease the baking paper thinly with butter, so that the lollies can be peeled off better later.
  3. Roast the pine nuts golden brown (just put them in a pan, without butter or similar, since they will give off enough fat by themselves). Make sure that the pine nuts are not too dark, because then they taste bitter.
  4. Rub the Parmesan, put aside 30 g of grated Parmesan. Mix the remaining Parmesan with the roasted pine nuts and sesame seeds.
  5. Place the serving ring on the baking tray, add a small handful of Parmesan pine sesame seeds and squeeze lightly on the baking paper to create a round surface with no holes. Carefully remove the serving ring.
  6. Now put a wooden skewer on the Parmesan rice so that the tip is exactly in the middle of the circle. Cover the skewer with the Parmesan set aside so that it looks like the spit comes out of the lollipop below.
  7. Place the next Parmesan circle on the baking tray, preferably offset, so you can take full advantage of the space. Make sure that there is enough distance to the adjacent lollipops, because the cheese mass will still run a little in the oven.
  8. Continue until both sheets are full. The result will be around 12-15 lollipops, which you then push one after the other into the middle rail of the preheated oven. Baking time: 5-7 minutes.
  9. The lollipops must be golden brown and blister. Get out of the oven and let it cool down (this works fast, you can take the lollies carefully after 5-10 minutes from the baking paper).

It looks most beautiful when the lollies are placed in a glass, perhaps with a nice napkin in it.
