Hartz 4 and the pension - pension contribution of the Arge

There are many long-term unemployed people getting Hartz 4. So far, the Arge has paid the pension contribution.

By chance, I learned from a Hartz 4 receiver that the Arge has set these payments to the pension fund for over 2 years. And what I find impossible is the fact that the Arge has not told the unemployed!

He came to the conclusion only when he received his new pension notice, which struck him as suddenly getting less pension than last year's decision. So he called the pension office. There he was told that the Arge has paid no contributions for over 2 years!

When he then asked at the Arge why he was not informed, he got in response: The time required to inform all Hartz 4 recipients, would be too expensive.

I know that many Hartz 4 recipients would rather work again rather than lie to the taxpayers on the bag.

I think there are also some Hartz 4 recipients here who do not know!

If the agreement is already too convenient to pass on this information to the Hartz 4 receiver, I would like to do it. My friend does it too, and was scared that nobody knew it!
