Peach nut cake
For the dough:
- 125 g of butter
- 125 g of sugar
- 2-3 eggs
- 1 pinch of salt
- 4 drops of lemon or bitter almond flavor
- 200 g of flour
- 1 teaspoon Baking powder
- 2-4 tablespoons milk
- 100 g of ground hazelnuts
- 500 g fully ripe but still firm peaches
Preparation:
- Beat the butter until foamy in a bowl. Add the sugar gradually, then add the eggs, salt and flavor and beat until the sugar is dissolved.
- Mix the flour with the baking powder and add it by the sieved spoonful under the butter mixture. Add the milk until the dough falls off the spoon.
- Add the hazelnuts and fill the dough into a 26 cm diameter greased springform pan, smooth.
- Pour the peach over with boiling water, skin, halve and core. Distribute on the dough, squeeze and bake in a preheated oven at 180-200 degrees for about 60 minutes.
- Let cool and serve dusted with powdered sugar. Good Appetite!
