Plants instead of curtains
If it can somehow be avoided, we have no curtains in front of our windows. Since we live in the uppermost apartment of the house and have no counterpart, so easily no one can look into the rooms.
So my husband got me a long chain (metal) from the meter, which he cut into handy pieces. At the upper end of the chain, a curtain hook was attached and pulled into the curtain rail.
Below, a loop was formed and in it the traffic lights were hung. Now we have a beautiful living green curtain. Of course, flowering plants are doing particularly well. We also hung the pots in such a way that you do not need a ladder to pour, but you can get to the pots with the watering can.
