Potato curd casserole with bacon

800 g vorw. firming potatoes, pre-cooked
200 g of smoked bacon
1 gr. Onion
500 g of low-fat quark
2 egg yolks
100g ger. Emmenthal
Salt, white pepper
1 tbsp caraway, whole
1 tsp. marjoram
2 egg whites
Fat for the mold

Peel the potatoes and cut into 1 cm cubes. Cut the bacon and the peeled onion into small cubes and sauté each one in a pan and roast until translucent.

Mix quark and egg yolk, the potatoes, 50g ger. Add the cheese and bacon-onion mixture and season with the spices. Finally, add the whipped egg whites and place in a greased casserole dish.


Sprinkle with the remaining cheese and on the middle. Bake the slab in a golden brown for about 30 minutes.

Circulating air 180 ° C, upper-lower heat 200 ° C, preheated

Serve with green salad.
