Pre-Christmas decoration: White ladder
I've always seen similar decoration on the internet and now I've finally recreated this pre-Christmas decoration with few resources and low costs:
Material requirements:
- battens
- saw
- wood screws
- Hot glue gun or thumbtacks
- White color
- light string
- Tannengrün
- a little decoration
The construction project is actually self-explanatory:
- Roof battens are sawed off in the desired length (take into account the length of the purchased batten prior to purchase and calculate which dimensions yield the fewest wastes, unless you need leftovers for other craft projects). Here: 5 slats per approx. 35 cm, 2 slats per approx. 160 cm.
- The small slats are bolted between the two large side slats
- The ladder is painted white (optional).
- After drying, an outdoor light chain (if necessary), if possible LED, attached and decorated with fir green and deco.
For safety reasons, the ladder should not be directly under a window if it was built stably, unless "window" was desired; o)
Mine is in front of the gate, but on the safe side before going to bed? made.
Maybe one or the other has an old wooden ladder: I wish I had not sold our ancient wooden folding ladder decades ago, because this type of ladder is much better for decoration.
