Prevent martens in the engine compartment
Well, to keep martens away from the engine compartment, I have tried everything that can be done against marten over the years. When my garagist once again told me that I had another marten damage, I asked him a bit helplessly:
Is there really nothing that keeps these tormentors away from cables and cuffs? "But," said my garagist, "Put a generously laid fine wire mesh on the floor of your garage and park the car on that wire mesh, which will help you forget everything else." Said, done - and miracles: it actually helped. Marten evidently hate to walk on moving surfaces with holes ...
