Process natural materials chicken gods

I threaded my remaining chicken gods collected on the beach onto a long band and made a necklace out of it, which now decorates a door.

Materials:

  • ears stones
  • Paketband
  • some driftwood pieces
  • small hand drill
  • 1 strong nail

Making the door jewelry:

First, I measure the length to be planned on the door panel, where the chain should hang later, and immediately attach the nail.

First, I put the stones in order of size in a long row on the ground, measure generously the tape and give rather something to length, which you can cut off later.

Then I knot the eyelet and start with one of the smaller stones. I thread it on the ribbon and tie a knot under the stone, then I take stone by stone and do it the same, sometimes I'll take a piece of driftwood and knot it in with it.

The distance between the stones does not have to be regular, you can also just put a double knot in between, in which you can then later something else from the flotsam (wood, feathers, shells, etc.).

If the hole for the tape is too small and there are still chalk deposits, you can carefully "help" with the hand drill.

At the end I put the biggest stone and knotted the band well there.

In between, I've always hung the almost finished necklace to try on the nail and considered how I continue with the ingredients.

Now she hangs on the doorframe and beautifies my room.
