Reduce / stop smoking

Thanks to the help of various herbs and fruits, smoking can be reduced or stopped altogether.

Smokers know it, you always find yourself before less to smoke or even stop smoking and that is never easy. There are people who find it very easy, but again, for which it is difficult to do. How often do you make a promise "I stop on New Year's Day", how often did that work?

I am a smoker myself and I am currently on a diet, so I can not stop completely, that would be too much at once, but I would like to reduce it greatly and therefore I have done something smart about home remedies. Known nicotine gum taste just disgusting, paving did not help me and the new e-cigarettes you hear nothing good. The diet makes me smoke all the more. That's why I thought, I'll just try out some home remedies and I've found what I'm looking for, and there are several herbs that make you want to smoke cigarettes and at the moment I started with apple and ribwort and must say, I realize that I can reduce smoking with it well.


1. There would be the apple cure

Apparently it is proven that one gets a dislike of the cigarettes by much enjoyment of apples. One should make a cure of 3 days, in which one takes only apples, together about 20 pieces. This does not work for me, 3 days are not feasible for me only with apples, so I eat now every day 2- 3 pieces of it and realize that I have no desire to smoke after the consumption of the apple. So I save myself here at least 3-4 cigarettes, which I would otherwise have smoked in the meantime. Of course, apples do not have a lot of calories and, of course, are very healthy for non-smokers. Apart from all the vitamins in them, they boost your metabolism and digestion.

2. The blueberries

The blueberry juice should be taken several times a day in small sips and leave a little while in the mouth. After that one should have no desire for cigarettes for a longer time. Besides, they are also good against:

  • diarrhea
  • sore throat
  • mild form of diabetes
  • anti-inflammatory

3. There is still the licorice

Unlike apples and blueberries, while it does not arouse the need for smoking, if you chew on the bars for a long time, you have something in your mouth and is busy. Quite good for those who also want to lose weight, as licorice, as the name implies, tastes a bit sweet and takes away the appetite for sweets.


It should also help very well against the smoker's cough (which luckily I do not have) and detoxify the tissue. There is also a lot more in the licorice root:

  • they work u.a. laxative
  • antibacterial
  • expectorant
  • soothing

4. calamus

For this one needs the root of the calamus, which one should chew, allegedly becomes one then evil, if one then smokes a cigarette. Sounds hard, but is probably not bad at all, so of course the desire passes, if you know what's waiting for you.

The healing effect of calamus:

  • good for stomach cramps
  • bloating
  • constipation

As you can see, smoking can certainly be restricted and thus reduced with some aids. I realize it alone, that I said after eating an apple I do not feel like smoking one. I certainly never noticed before. Of course it would be best to stop it altogether, I do not have to tell anyone, but since I know how hard it is, that alone helps to reduce it and maybe it makes some people click and let it stay. I know, easier said than done, but many have done so, before that great respect.
