Old cake left?

You have old, dry or crumbled cakes of every kind? No problem!

Crumble the cake leftovers. Add raisins soaked in rum, crushed, candied cherries, orang in an appropriate proportion. Add rum or brandy until the mixture is kneadable. Form mass balls or cone-like shapes. Put on parchment and cover with a chocolate mass! Tastes great! Put the balls / cones in white parchment bowls!

This "recipe" comes from the old GDR. There were large bakery and there was also cake / cake leftovers, which was not salable. When these alcohol-rich chocolate dumplings arrived, they were quickly sold out. Is also a good tip for the bakeries here in D!
