Prepare frozen pizza really delicious

Now you can be creative and "pimp" them with all sorts of extra ingredients; yet it does not change the fact that the dough is rather sticky and, as the pizza is baked when cooked, is more like a crumbly cookie than the pizza of the favorite Italian.

How do you get this yeast cake so loose, tasty and delicious?


It is really quite simple and the hobby chef is no limitation in his creativity - regardless of whether he still wants to use cheese, salami, ham, seafood, etc. in addition to the original topping.

The simple solution to get the pizza "fluffy" is: steam! Ordinary steam!

This results in a very simple procedure:

  1. We take a deep baking tray or the fat pan and fill it with water.
  2. Then we put these on the bottom rail back into the oven.
  3. The oven is now heated as indicated on the pizza box (usually 220 ° C).
  4. When the oven is preheated, the water should boil (at least almost). Ergo: There is steam! We want to have that!
  5. Now we pack the frozen pizza on a griddle over the frying pan / tin with the hot water and leave it in the oven according to instructions.
  6. After another (at my favorite pizza) 13 minutes (as it says on the box) then everything is ready and the pizza can on the plate.

Lo and behold: The soil is loose, beautifully risen, not sticky, not crumbly, the tomato sauce suddenly tastes different - after tomato, also the salami tastes of salami and the hot peppers do not taste like beer mats.
