Orange almond cake, gluten-free

Orange almond cake, gluten-free - but tastes everyone! This cake is so delicious. Very easy to do, if you do not count the cooking time. Very important is to replace the water from the orange cooking, otherwise it just tastes bitter. It took me a while, until I came to it.

So you need:

2 medium sized, untreated oranges
6 eggs
250 g of sugar
280 g of grated almonds
1 teaspoon Baking powder

You take the oranges, put them all in a pot and cover them with cold water. On the stove and boil once. The water is then poured off and the oranges again covered with cold water. Bring to a boil again and simmer for an hour. It smells wonderful!

Cook after the hour, pour off the water carefully. The oranges are now very soft. Cut them into rough pieces and fish out any cores. Now let it cool down and then mix with the cutting stick.

When that happens, take the 6 eggs and stir frothy with the sugar. Add the orange puree and mix. Finally mix the almonds with the baking powder underneath.

Put everything in a round pan and bake for 45 - 60 minutes at 180 degrees Celcius. Times sometimes vary, due to the different temperaments of the ovens, so better go with your experience here and do a Garprobe!

Let it cool, powdered sugar on it and who likes happy food, and yes, you should like oranges for this cake.
