Rhenish Schnibbelbohnen with potatoes among themselves
Rinse 1 kg of lactic acid beans in a colander, bring to the boil briefly, drain and boil again with fresh water (otherwise they are too acidic!). Cook for about 15 minutes.
Peel and chop 1kg of potatoes. Cook and stew with porridge with some butter or margarine and milk.
Beans and mashed potato with each other.
It tastes of pancakes, meatballs, bratwurst or simply 2-3 hard-boiled eggs.
