Appetizer dates filled with cream cheese: When I was shopping yesterday at the Turk, I saw these wonderful big dates, and I remembered, at family feasts, to which everyone brought something, I was always responsible for appetizers and salad.
These filled dates were terribly popular and my daughter and husband love them, even as a starter at dinner parties. Simply awesome-ingeniously simple!
Ingredients and preparation
- Per person about 6 big soft dates. Philadelphia cream cheese and / or goat cream cheese.
- Cut the dates lengthwise, remove the core and fill with the cream cheese.
- I also serve soft cornbread and salt butter.
