Savory sausage pie

Something different to the game evening. The hearty sausage pie is easy to make and will impress!

Make a yeast dough from 375 g of flour. Bake golden brown in a springform pan. Allow to cool and divide horizontally. You can also take a round farmhouse bread, cut off a lid and use it elsewhere.

On the lower part of the floor, cream cheese (optionally natural, with herbs, with paprika and chili, with horseradish ...) 1 - 2 cm thick paint. Cover with raw or cooked ham or salami thick.


Put a layer of dark wholegrain bread on it, maybe it has to be cut to size.

Spread calf's liver sausage or Mettwurst on wholemeal bread.

Brush butter on the bottom of the second base and place on top of the liverwurst layer.

Now spread the whole cake around with the same cream cheese as on the bottom. Perhaps decorate with wholemeal breadcrumbs on the sides.

At the top, the cake can be decorated with ham or salami rolls, gherkins, egg slices, canned asparagus, parsley and olives. Put radishes around the sausage cake.
