Smartphone washed - it works again
I had to try it myself and it works smoothly again. Case: My smartphone (Samsung Galaxy) has undergone a complete wash in my jeans.

Do not turn it on (I did it, but I was lucky that nothing happened, because water and electricity are usually not compatible.)
What to do
- Disassemble the phone completely. Battery out, SD card out, Sim card out.
- Dry with a lint-free cloth.
- Fill salt or cat litter in a plastic bag (I have pulled through the salt variant) salt favors but rust!
- Place the smartphone with the display facing down and all other parts in the bag. Make sure that the device does not come into direct contact with salt or cat litter! put the lint-free cloth in between.
- Wait 48 to 72 hours and hope that the salt or the cat litter draws the remaining water from the environment and thus out of the smartphone. (Rice did not work)
- Reassemble everything and keep your fingers crossed. If the display does not react as usual, simply repeat the procedure from the 1st. Then probably still residual water in the smartphone.
