Spooky story - the hit on the birthday party
What do you do on a birthday party? The question probably know all parents. My suggestion (for five to ten year old) - scary story in the dark.
The children are sitting in a row. Then the room is darkened. An adult tells a horror story and hands around items that the children feel and pass on. For example, a big damp leaf from the garden was a batsheed that a witch needed for a potion. An apple was the eye of a whale, etc. You have to think about which items are suitable and how frightening it may be for the children. It is important in the end to resolve the matter in the light: which article was e.g. the eye or the bat's ear? Especially with the little ones that is important, otherwise it would be too scary for them.
