- Pull plug, turn off water.
- Remove the upper cover by unscrewing 2 screws at the rear in the upper part, then pull the cover backwards with a little pressure.
- Loosen the screws on the control panel by removing the slot for the washing powder and loosening 2 screws, now 2 or 3 (different from device to device, sometimes saving the 3rd screw), now carefully remove the clip from the detergent compartment / Release the plastic hook and the panel can be laid upright (leave the cable behind).
- Now it goes on at the front; First, looking for the retaining ring on the door rubber, this is held together with a spring, here just an eyelet easily! bend, slowly loosen the spring with pliers from the eyelet, the ring is free, now pull off the rubber only here in front, attention always hangs firmly inside the washing machine and is only solved on the outer lining.
- Now loosen the 2 screws on the door lock, this is the small black rectangle where the door snaps into place.
- Then loosen the 3 screws on the front below and on the upper part of the front the other 2.
- Remove the hose from the holder on the strainer and let it hang.
- Now the front can be removed upwards, be careful with the door, it still depends on it!
- Now the 2nd retaining ring on the door rubber is removed, just loosen the screw as far as possible and necessary, then pull off the rubber, here it is worthwhile to see how the rubber was pulled on!
- New Rubber (DC64-02605A_DOOR-DIAPHRAGM; WF1802XEC / YLP, EPDM, T1.5 / T) [about 60 euros] pull up, be careful here that he is sitting properly; he will certainly always slide down again, no matter raise with one hand and hold the beginning with the other (should the rubber do not go well, you should solve the weight (black block below), to solve 3 screws and pull off with some force, Attention hard!)
- Sits the rubber, check everything again, then put the ring back on properly and screw it tight, making sure that it sits properly in the groove.
- (Screw on weight again) Re-attach front, ensure correct fit; Pull the hose through the strainer, lock the door lock in the front and screw it tight (reach through the door) and screw tight, fix the front with 2 screws.
- Pull the door rubber forward and pull it up, then put on the ring, put in the spring and close the eyelet again.
- Insert the panel, screw tight and push in the cover again and tighten.
- Remaining screws in the front -> finished.
