Toothbrush clean and longer lasting

Toothbrushes and electric toothbrush attachments are often expensive and of course there are many other reasons to make sure the toothbrush stays clean for a long time.

This is also an important factor during colds - especially as many advise you to dispose of the toothbrush after an infection. If you maintain the toothbrush well, you can use it "long".

The most important two points: Keep the toothbrush dry - so that bacteria and germs can not multiply and keep the toothbrush clean. Bacteria and germs feel most comfortable in moisture.

1st tip:

Keep the toothbrush as dry as possible. Ie. after using it briefly with a towel or a fresh washcloth (with which one can then wash off the face) dry and set up so that the bristles can dry out well.

If you want, you can also use two toothbrushes (one for the morning, one for the evening), so you always have enough time to get dry.

2nd tip:

Bristle head from time to time under boiling / hot water. I do not cook extra water, but I like to use water leftovers from the kettle and pour the last few drops over the brush head. Then dry the brush head and allow it to dry out.

3rd tip:

Fill a clean glass with warm water and a denture cleansing tab, leaving the toothbrush's bristle head in it for 15 minutes. Rinse well (if necessary with the boiling water from the kettle). Dry brush head. Finished.
