Tree decorations: skates made of paperclip and felt
For this cute decoration, paper clips become ice skates. This looks great on the Christmas tree as well as a deco on a Christmas present.
For the skates, I drew a paper template and cut it to size. First draw a sock and cut it out. Trace this sock on paper and place it mirrored at the foot of the drawn sock and trace it. Cut out this shape and use it as a template for the felt shoes. If the felt pattern is cut out, a paper clip with the short wire end is pushed onto the middle. Below is a complete skid arise. Close the two felt ends and embroider laces with needle and wool thread.
