White mulled wine with apricots and "shot"

The ingredients

1 L white wine, variety does not really matter
2 bags of mulled wine spice
Sugar at will
5 dried apricots
100 ml Barackpalinka (Hungarian apricot brandy) - it is also apricot liqueur, but then be careful with the sugar.

First you put the apricots in the schnapps and let them draw a bit.
The wine is heated, sugar added and allowed to simmer for 10 minutes with the spice.
Add an apricot to each cup, pour hot wine over it and spread the schnapps over the cups.
