White turns white again with dishwasher tabs
You may call me crazy, but the best I've ever tried for white laundry was dishwasher tabs!
Prehistory: My white bedding has a tendency to gray after some time, or the pillowcases are yellowish by sebum. Does not look very sparkling. After experiments with Bleiche, the famous Dr. B. and the like I stumbled on this tip from a cook. She puts a dishwasher tablet in her work uniform to keep her glowing white. I tried it and I converted!
I put my white sheets into the drum, a dishwasher tablet (from Fin * ish) directly into the drum. Then normal detergent in the chamber and washed at 60 degrees. The result was great. No yellow cast, bright white and even an old, already washed-out bloodstain had disappeared. My husband said they were whiter now than they were when we bought them!
I will not do that to any laundry now, but definitely when it's needed again.
