Wigs sit better and do not slip
Who likes to dress up now during the carnival time incl. wig, is sometimes annoyed quickly because the wig just does not sit quite safe on your own hair and you have to constantly pickle so that not everything slips.
A good trick: Cut off both legs from a pantyhose and knot the leg remains together. So you get a kind hood, which pulls over the hair. Then you put the wig and you can also peg it, if necessary.
Of course, this is not just for carnival costumes, but for wigs!
