My absolute favorite cake is the wonder cake. The great thing about this cake is that you can make it suitable for all fillings.

I also like to use it as a basis for motif cakes, as it is more stable than regular biscuit, but still very juicy and easy, and it is prepared very quickly.

The great thing about this cake is that you can make it with any liquid (non-carbonated). No matter what you have at home Orange juice, Kaba, Baileys, buttermilk or other liquids are mixed with the base ingredients and baked.

ingredients

  • 4 eggs
  • 200 g of sugar
  • 200 ml of liquid of your choice (for example, apple juice, egg liqueur, water ...)
  • 200 ml of oil
  • 300 g of flour
  • 1 pck of baking soda

preparation

  1. Beat eggs well with sugar, then add the oil and liquid of your choice and stir briefly.
  2. Mix the baking powder with flour and strain. Carefully fold in with a whisk. Do not stir too much, the air must stay in the dough. (For chocolate flavor, add 2 tbsp cocoa).
  3. Put the dough in a greased springform pan and bake at approx. 160 degrees Celsius or 180 degrees O / U for 35-40 minutes. Please make a stick sample.
  4. After the cake has cooled, you can coat it with butter cream, cream cream or ganache.
