Zipper slider handle broken? No problem

With me, the zipper slide handles are often broken (for example, on bags ...) then I came up with the idea to just followers to turn it, now I can open my bag back to normal. (see image)

saarbmw1921: halla, I was 8 months in the hospital. That's what happened to me. I also tried a paper clip. the problem is that the sled has a small spine so that the zipper keeps its position. I then tested a key ring, and ... just great. I then made some small ribbons to the ring. that then had the advantage that the operation is then even easier (no looking for the little sled-tongue). goes of course, because of the optics not with all garments. I only had casual clothes with me. Of course that was the best solution. I then gradually replaced all slit tongues with rings, and then attached to each ring of leather straps. not only looks good, is also very practical.
thanks for the tip. in most cases it is often the case that the sewing in of a new zipper is often more expensive than the garment is worth. The key rings are also available in many colors, looks great.
thanks again for the tip.

simplicity is the seasoning.
As you can see from the comments, I am not the only one who appreciates the simple tips.
keep it up, and do not let the negative comments of the langweiler get you down.

The whole is called lt. Wiki zipper, or in English zipper.
The thing that closes or opens the RV is the slider or in Swiss German sledge.
What went off here is the slider handle.

Since we use this RV daily and I even asked a seamstress. She also thought that Zipper's grip was the zipper.
Now I'm a bit smarter and happy about my new keyring on the slide, where I knotted a flat leather cord.
