Advent jewelery: Star of wool

These stars are made from wool, glue or children's glue, with little effort and are a nice Advent jewelry or jewelry on gifts.

Size and shape (for example, hearts, shamrock, etc.) are freely selectable.

This is how it's done:

  1. First, color matching wool in wallpaper paste or children's glue (washable) soaked, so that everything is well covered.
  2. Now a motif from the Internet is printed, cut out and placed on a polystyrene plate.
  3. Mark all corners and edges with a match, which is inserted into the Styrofoam plate.
  4. The wool is now always passed around the matches, until an edge is formed (about three times).
  5. Then fill the middle of the object with twisted wool threads.
  6. If necessary sprinkle with glitter and leave to dry (about 2 days).

If you want to make hearts or other motifs, the matches must be placed close to each other, so that the motif is easy to recognize later.

This can be done with the help of children (equipped with apron or old men's shirt) and have their fun.
