Air in the radiator - vent!
Now it starts again with the cold in the apartment. Turn on the radiator and it's already warm. Sometimes it does not get warm. Why?
There are air bubbles in the warm heating water and they interfere with heating up. This air has to go out. For this you need an internal square wrench 5x5 mm. Is it in the specialty shop and in hardware stores. You also need a mug or a cup.
And that is how it works
- To set the heating temperature, there is a thermostatic valve on all radiators.
- Fully open the thermostatic valves on all radiators. Wait 1 hour. It's getting pretty warm, but it has to be.
- There is also an extra vent valve, This can be recognized by the opening for the key and a small spout for the water.
- Insert the key and hold the cup under it. Now it hisses and the air comes out. Then comes water. If it no longer hisses and gurgles, turn quickly.
- Not all radiators are full of air bubbles. But you have to turn it all up, you never know where the air is still in there.
- Finally, reset all thermostatic valves as desired. If it is not terribly cold, you can heat a room and leave the door open, then the whole apartment will be warm. But everyone has to try it. You can also dress warmly ...

If a lot of water has come out, call the caretaker. He has to refill water at the heating system for the whole house. In the home you have to do it yourself.
