Bean salad Brokstreek
This bean salad swim more in milk (no Milky Way :)
preparation
Fish half of a can of young green beans and mix with chopped 1/2 yellow pepper, 1 pinch of black pepper, 1 pinch of salt, 3 tablespoons white vinegar, 5 tablespoons milk, 2 tablespoons oil, 1/2 teaspoon sugar and 1 teaspoon mustard.
The salad may sit knee deep in the juice (sauce / sauce / dressing), because it tastes best after 1 night in the fridge, well pulled.
Optionally, even coarsely cut onions instead of peppers are sometimes in it.
Green pepper is too bitter and red too firm, I think. However, the eye eats with yes, with yellow beans, green pepper would be better then to face :)
Instead of milk goes also cream, whereby the oil could then be omitted.
Very interesting are 6 cubes of a sugared and cut pineapple from the tin.
Herbs, whether strong in flavor, would not do so well. A touch of savory could quickly get out of hand.
On the quantities of the ingredients may be experimented)
This salad tastes fresh and peppy thanks to peppery-sweet-sour sauce, good with chicken or Sauerbraten, with hot, floury potatoes and brown sauce. * Munch *
Or for a snack, for a snack, for sandwiches in the afternoon, in the break, outdoors on the hike or bike ride, or for a barbecue)
PS: In a simpler way, my mother used to go to her native Brokstreek once a week.
