Bread storage in the oven - the Riesenbrotkasten

After I made bad experiences with bread boxes of all kinds (wooden bread box, Römertopf etc.) - sometime mold was always in it - I lift my bread and my rolls, baguettes and so on in the oven for years. It offers plenty of space for larger quantities and my bread stays fresh for a long time and on the other hand is not too moist!

Mold has also never shown on the oven walls, as the material probably does not promote and also a certain ventilation is available. The only downside: if I want to use the stove for baking, of course, I have to temporarily store my bread somewhere else, until the oven is well cooled - I personally do most of the then - much smaller - microwave!
