Buy freshly-made bananas in the fridge
Time and again it says: bananas are not in the fridge! I prove the opposite:
Who would like to eat this black banana? Probably nobody, especially not if you know that she is already over 3 weeks old.
All tricks and tips on the durability of bananas did not bring me the desired result.
I store most of my (rather green) bananas in the fridge after purchase. There they turn black within a short time and the maturing process stops.
If I intend to eat them, I put them in the fruit bowl and after a few days they are outwardly very unsightly (ie black throughout), but on the inside they are sweet (for those who like them).
Hardly a brow was revealed when peeling.
The banana in the picture was over 2 weeks in the fridge and 7 days in the fruit bowl ... somehow I just did not get to feed me through the banana natural magnesium ;-)
I wanted to dispose of it, but removed the shell out of interest, because it still felt quite hard:
The inner life was yellow and unsullied? , well matured, sweet and quite edible.
Try it - I would not have believed it myself!
It may be that she has lost vitamins, but that's not so important to me in this case.
