Cake leftover
After the holidays, a lot of cake pieces remain over. What to do with it? I'm going to freeze everything, grin, go away with it. If necessary, the cake residue is thawed and processed further.
So, take 4 pretty wine glasses with a stalk, add half a piece of shredded cake to each jar, then 2 tablespoons of custard or vanilla sauce, then fruits to taste, e.g. Cherries, mandarins, pineapple or cranberries, cake and pudding again.
Finally, something leftover from the Christmas bakery, e.g. Brittle, almond leaves, chocolate sprinkles, just everything that the imagination so gives.
If no children eat, then a bit of eggnog in the stratification is delicious. All kinds of dry cake are suitable, but also some with fruit. And I like to take the somewhat unsuccessful. Pull everything in the fridge and serve with a long spoon and enjoy.
