Cat keeps scratching wound

Cat is scratching his wound again and again - helping claw caps.

If cats have a wound to which they always cling with the claws and thus tear off the scab and bring everything to bleed again, then help so-called claw caps. They were actually invented so that the precious furniture would not get scratched (we do not need to discuss such a nonsensical attitude, some people should at most consider stuffed animals ...), BUT: they helped us a lot with cat Barney.

The wound in the neck healed well, but - we know that from us too - when the scab starts to itch, then one goes back to better knowledge until he is off and the wound in the worst case, thus open again. And tell a hangover, he should not scratch it ... The place was so stupid that no bandage has held or has slipped so much that he has torn open with the claws again and again. So, with the active support of our vet, we glued on claw caps (Google names sources of supply) and with a little extra ointment, the wound healed quickly.

Incidentally, the cause of the itching was a food allergy, which we have of course changed immediately! Actually, our already high-quality food, but for Barney even the occasional treats were too much grain.
