Champignon pepper skewers with mountain cheese

For the barbecue season, I prepared these delicious vegetarian mushroom and pepper skewers with mountain cheese.

  • 500 g white mushrooms
  • 1 red and 1 green pepper
  • 200 g mountain cheese (spicy)
  • Garlic salt / pepper
  • parsley
  • Sunflower oil
  • skewers

preparation

  1. Please insert wooden skewers in water (5 minutes), with metal skewers remember that you do not burn your fingers.
  2. Remove the stems from the mushrooms.
  3. Cut mountain cheese into 1.5 cm cubes (depending on the size of the mushroom).
  4. Cut the peppers into pieces about the size of the mushrooms.
  5. Fill mushrooms with the cheese cubes.
  6. Prepare skewers: 1 stuffed mushroom, then a piece of paprika, etc.
  7. Brush the skewers with oil, pepper, salt and fry in the slightly oiled pan until golden brown. Finished. If you like, sprinkle with parsley.

This fits a spicy tomato sauce, and who does not want vegetarian, grilled meat.

Tip: Fry the stems and add as a vegetable garnish or salad.
