Change mobile phone number at WhatsApp and save old conversations
This tip is for those who, like me, did not know that you could take WhatsApp conversations from the old phone number to the new one. This is very practical and important for many people.
There are people who may have died, but you still have old conversations that you would like to delete under any circumstances. It was the same with me, a person close to me died and I still have the conversation.
Recently, I changed my provider and thought the many conversations of my old number at WhatsApp would of course no longer be available.
My brother, however, showed me that this is possible, as follows:
You go to WhatsApp> Settings> Account> Change number.
A window will appear, in which you can enter the old and then the new mobile number.
Now you have old conversations transferred to the new number. Since I use Android, I do not know if it works with iOS. Just try it!
