Toilet paper holder in the small bathroom

If you have limited space in the bathroom and a towel dryer / towel radiator, the following tip for a good alternative to a standard toilet paper holder: A quick and easy knotted holder made of a cotton cord, which also has the advantage that the toilet paper is warmed !

What you need is just 1 meter of a slightly thicker cotton cord (I chose a thickness of 6 mm).

The cord is divided into two parts of about 60 and 40 cm. Please note: The length may vary depending on the diameter of the heating tubes and the thickness of the toilet paper roll!

The two pieces are then tied together in a loop and knotted together with a normal knot - at the shorter of the two loops, the cord ends should be about 3 cm long (see photos).

The finished loops are now wrapped at any height of the radiator around one of the heating tubes: simply pull the knotted ends centrally through the loops. It should be noted that with the shorter loop, the knot should be passed through the loop from above (see photo 1).

Note that for the shorter loop, the knot should be passed through the loop from the top

Photos 2-4 show step-by-step how to proceed. Once the knot of the longer loop has been passed through the toilet paper roll and inserted into the top piece of the short loop (photo 3), the long end is pulled down firmly (photo 4) so that the loop is firmly fixed.

We like this simple and inexpensive solution very well in our small bathroom!
