I'm not a vegan myself, but I enjoy trying new recipes. I came across this delicious cashew cream sauce.

Which also has the distinct advantage that it is healthier than a cream sauce, as the cashew nuts contain a high proportion of protein and magnesium, as well as iron and vitamin B6.

ingredients

  • 90 g of cashew nuts
  • 125 ml almond mixture

preparation

  1. You should soak the cashews at least 2 hours before you need them for cooking, even better overnight. Best in a bowl or small bowl with enough water to cover. This makes the further processing in the mixer easier and they are easier to digest.
  2. Then drain the cashews and rinse well.
  3. Now in the blender with the cashew nuts and almond milk until the sauce is creamy.
