I'm not a vegan myself, but I enjoy trying new recipes. I came across this delicious cashew cream sauce.
Which also has the distinct advantage that it is healthier than a cream sauce, as the cashew nuts contain a high proportion of protein and magnesium, as well as iron and vitamin B6.
ingredients
- 90 g of cashew nuts
- 125 ml almond mixture
preparation
- You should soak the cashews at least 2 hours before you need them for cooking, even better overnight. Best in a bowl or small bowl with enough water to cover. This makes the further processing in the mixer easier and they are easier to digest.
- Then drain the cashews and rinse well.
- Now in the blender with the cashew nuts and almond milk until the sauce is creamy.
