Overnight Oats - "Overnight Oatmeal" - a breakfast not just for working people!

Who does not know it? In the mornings, you often can not make something nice for your work, or you just can not eat something right after getting up. Some also do not like pre-seasoned breads from the evening before.


A solution for this can now be Overnight Oats.

ingredients

  • 1 large jam jar
  • 50 g of oatmeal (whether pithy or tender is up to you)
  • about 1 teaspoon of flaxseed meal (or other seeds that you like and that you like well)
  • 120 ml of milk
  • possibly sugar, stevia, sweetener

preparation

Mix the oatmeal with the seeds in the jam jar and then top it up with the milk and add your choice of sweetener. The whole thing is then in the closed jam jar in the fridge overnight.

variations:

You can of course vary with any fruit, whatever you like. I often cut in a banana, which then results in a very filling breakfast. But every other fruit is also great and provides variety. Also (back) cocoa can be added.

Whether you mix the fruit directly with it or place it on top of the oatmeal milk mixture and then place it in the refrigerator is up to you.

In the morning you have to go to the fridge and grab your tasty breakfast from there.
